Rebound Rate (REB%)
Percentage of available rebounds a player grabs while on the floor.
Full Definition
Rebound Rate estimates the percentage of available missed shots that a player rebounds while on the court. It can be split into Offensive Rebound Rate (ORB%) and Defensive Rebound Rate (DRB%). For rebounds props, REB% is more predictive than raw rebound totals because it adjusts for pace and playing time. A center with 20%+ DRB% facing a team that misses a lot of shots is an ideal rebounds over target.
What's a good Rebound Rate?
Total REB% above 15% is elite, 12-15% is strong, 8-12% is average for bigs, below 5% is a guard.
